22. October 2020 Toro de Oro Awards 2020: Congratulations!

Since 2015 the Hyperion Insurance Group and Howden Broking Group have been presenting the Toro de Oro Awards. With these awards the international group of companies wants to reward those employees who go beyond their roles and boundaries. The background to this is the strengthening of the corporate culture and global cooperation to maintain and increase further success. To this end, this year’s awards ceremony focused on three categories:

  1. Collaboration: Special cross-company contributions to strengthen the Group
  2. Team: Best team performance
  3. Individual: Special achievements of individual employees

Nominations are evaluated primarily in the light of the values of the international Howden Broking Group. These are important values that we, the EUROASSEKURANZ team, also shares:

People First
The use of technical and digital channels to generate better solutions. This is particularly reinforced by the current circumstances of the COVID 19 pandemic.

Technology and digital

The use of technical and digital channels to generate better solutions. This is particularly reinforced by the current circumstances of the COVID 19 pandemic.

Specialism and expertise
The support of customers through special expertise and absolute know-how, no matter in which field and in which corporate function.

Sustainability

All contributions to support business sustainability, for example by implementing a practice or product for long-term benefits.

We would like to congratulate several winners for the presentation of this year’s awards:

Thomas Elleser and Jürgen Reinschmidt from EURO Transaction Solutions GmbH were honoured for the Team Award 2020. The COVID Support Team Award 2020 was presented to all IT teams of the entire group of companies; for EUROASSEKURANZ these are Thomas Biedermann and Paul Meinert.

By now you have probably asked yourself a few times what “Toro de Oro” actually means:

The name “Toro de Oro” is derived from Spanish and means “Golden Bull”. Accordingly, the prize is a bull statue made of brass.

We are very happy for the winners and wish them all the best again!
